How to get blonde hair from gingery/brass hair?
I naturally have a light brown/dark blonde hair colour and I used a box dye (ultra light ash blonde) to try to get a lighter ash blonde.The end result is beautiful- a light reddish Ginger/Strawberry blonde...it's just not what I was going for.
My question is how to get a natural [more blonde] colour from this bright Ginger. I thought of getting a highlighting cap and adding lots of blonde highlights all over to blend the colours, but I don't know if that would work.
any ideas?
My hair is veeeery red though, so I don't know if the purple/violet shampoo would work all that well. Have you used those products on your hair in a similar situation?
the highlights would probably work but you could also try a purple/violet shampoo. it will probably remove all the brassy tones from your hair and that will make it quite blonde. you can get the shampoo at nearly any drugstore or places like wal mart.
