In fictional Palm City former cop Vince Faraday is framed for murder. Believed to be dead, he takes on the persona of his son's favorite comic book superhero 'The Cape' to clear his name and reunite with his family. Together with a group of former carnies, he fights against the corrupt police, politicians, and ARK Corporation.
Set in the fictional Palm City, the series cooks up on Vince Faraday, a police detective with honors and a clean record who plans to leave the city's filthy and corrupt police department. When a mysterious character nicknamed "Chess" murders Palm City's newly appointed police chief and Vince witnessed the crime, he accepts an offer to work for billionaire Peter Fleming's private security firm, who petitions the city to keep from public eye their police and public security SOPs. Orwell, an anonymous investigative blogger sends Faraday an email and together with his partner Marty Voyt, they set out to target a cargo train which was actually owned by Fleming's firm rumored to be smuggling explosives. Unknown to Faraday, Voyt sets him up and eventually delivered him to Chess, who was no other than Fleming himself. He was framed for the police chief's murder, leaving Faraday on the loose with Fleming's security team at his wake in a chase which later ended up in an explosion. After the incident, the entire city and even his family believed that Faraday is actually Chess who died in the explosion. Meanwhile, Faraday takes refuge with a band of traveling circus performers which was actually part of a bank robbery circle. Max Malini, their head, trains Faraday to manipulate a black cape to defend himself. The circus folks tried to convince him that for the safety of his family, he can never reveal his identity to his wife. Faraday then decides to take his place in fighting Palm City's black agenda and corruption and clear out his name, but in the mean time, his name would be "The Cape", inspired by his son's favorite comic book hero.
The Cape Season 1 Episode 4 s01e04 summary: The Cape tips off Scales that Fleming has betrayed him in business dealings, leading to a confrontation at a costume party aboard a train, the same train that The Cape and Orwell discover Max and the Carnival plan to rob. Meanwhile, Dana and Trip deal with the scorn directed at them because of Vince's supposed criminal activities.

Can you take any type of bag/purse with a long Gothic-like black cape? If yes, what kind?
I just bought this beautiful long black cape and It came to my mind that I don't know how I'll carry by stuff when I wear it. It doesn't have sleeves and it only has a button at the neck level from where it splits. It's heavy, for cold or weather. Can you please tell me if I can match some kind of bag/purse to it?
