How can I turn Black Faux Fur into White Faux Fur?
I have this batch of Black Shaggy Faux Fur that I used for a project a couple years ago, and I have a lot of it left still. However there another project I'd like to work on, but I need white fur.
The project in question is that I'm making a Fox head-mask and tail that I'm making out of cheap craft materials.
Anyway. I've been trying to look for solutions other than buying a batch of white fur; and It's hard to come by the fur I need here locally in Fort Worth, TX depending on the season. I've asked some friends and relatives for some help and they've told me that:
1. Bleaching Faux Fur would destroy it because it's acrylic.
and
2. Painting it would only clump it together.
Are there any other options for me, instead of buying new fur. Like:
* Would over-dying it make it white?
