How does Color deceive our Brain
Color is a kind of visual effect to light, it caused by the people's eyes,
brains and their experiences. But, in real life, our perception of color are
not only determined by the light's physical appearance, but also affected by
the colors surrounding.
Why does Santa wear red clothes in Christmas Day? Santa with a long white
beard wears red clothes in indispensable to Christmas. It is said that Santa

However,at first,Santa doesn't have uniform. According to the historical
records, Santa has ever worn the blue clothes. In 1931, the Coca Cola
Company in order to meets their needs; they designed new clothes for Santa
on the basis of Saint Nicholas' fete clothes. And put their logo color,red
as the color of Santa's clothes. Because of the company's vigorous
promoting, the Santa in red sonly be accepted by people.
Why the light in tunnel is orange? Tunnel on the highway use the orange
light for lighting. This is because that compared with white and blue light,
orange light can irradiate for a long distance, this can help driver see
clearly the road conditions and vehicles. The formal name for this orange
light is called sodium. The orange light has a characteristic that even if
there are some dust or fog and other obstacles, it can also irradiate to a
faraway place. Besides, orange belongs to warm tone, it won't make people
drowsy. It is too dangerous for driver to doze off in tunnel. Therefore, the
using of orange light in tunnel is due to the consideration of security.
