Why Indian Voter has drifted from both the Congress and BJP
India Voted in various phases to elect a new government for the next five years.Both the prominent parties are claiming to get majority and reach the magic figure of 272 with the help of their allies. Pollsters have predicted a lead for Congress led UPA but the difference between UPA and NDA seems very thin. Therefore both the parties are wooing smaller parties to extend therir support to them. All possible tricks are being played. Senior leaders of both the parties are busy finalizing deals.
The left front is worried and intends to keep its flock together. But Both Jaya Lalitha of AIADMK and Chandra Babu Naidu are keeping their plans up their sleeves. Jaya Lalitha conceded that she is getting overtures from both the fronts but is not pepared to disclose her intention of joining either of the formations for the time being. So is Chandra Babu Naidu and keeping him stationed in Andhra.
Similar is the attitude of Navin Pattanyak of BJD. Nitish Kumar has surprised every one by stating that he will give his support to that formation which grants a special status to his state- Bihar. This has led activity in Congress Camp and it might consider the proposal in its executive meeting. Give Special Status to Bihar and Get Support. This could also be ploy to get at better bargaining.
If Jaya Lalitha agrees to support the UPA in Government formation, Congress might even consider dumping DMK in Tamilnadu. Mamta Banerjee has kept her options open and if Congress seeks support of the left parties, Trinamool may dump the alliance with Congress in West Bengal.
Smajwadi Party is also weighing its position of strength and if it emerges stronger in UP, Mulayam may demand sacking of the Bahujan Samaj Party Government in UP in return for the support to Congress.
The crux is smaller parties and regional parties are hell bent on securing the maximum advantage for them for extending support to the formation seeking to form the next government.
The Voter does not seem impressed by the develomental , including the Pokhran Test of the NDA, nor with the UPA's policies and programmes including much publicised conclusion of Nuclear Treaty with the USA undertken during its tenure. Both UPA and NDA have nurtured their policie and have failed to bring the economyof the country at par with the developed Nations. Both have worked in their own style, but the country is yet a developing nation.
The common man is reeling under inflationery conditions. Both UPA and NDA are accusing each other vehementally and putting responsibility for these conditions on the other party. Common Man fails to grasp this paradox and has gone miserable.And for this reason has drifted away from both the Big Players seeking seat of power at New Delhi. We will see how the government will be weaved on 16th May, 2009.

Pretty deep. Sounds as if someone around you, attracts you, and would like that person in your life. You also feel that there is no one around you that understands you. You feel that you rather keep to your self and not anyone know. That is what the poem describes not that you actually feel that way because I can see where you made a few transitions to make it rime or flow. GOOD JOB.... If you ever do feel like you write talk to a good friend, about it. It helps a lot, even to make you write more.
