On my spinning outfit, should I use a braid or a mono as my main line with a fluoro leader?

This outfit is for 4-5" finesse rigged soft plastics. My question is if I'm going to use a fluoro as my leader line, which line should I use as my main line. And also what lb test should each line be? Thanks for everybody's answers to my questions. You've all helped me a lot. I just ask so many because I always hear and read different things about fishing every day.

Like suggested in one of my previous answers- When your fishing 4-6 LB Braid it's VERY rare that you''ll need to go "super-stealth" with a Fluro leader- if at all.

'Course, depends on the situation, (IE- the water clarity & depth your fishing).

Only once have I had to add a Fluro leader to low diameter Braid.
I was fishing Smallmouth off a ledge in 12-15FT of water and the fish wouldn't hold onto the Jig long enough to get a good hookset. They would pick it up and immediately spit it. It worked!

It was during a Tournament- when you've paid $100 PLUS to fish you'll try anything. (lol)

So, NO, 98% of the time, if your using a 4-6LB diameter braid you won't need a leader.

Brenden- Read EVERYTHING you can! Try anything and everything. Keep abreast of the current hot lures and presentations.........

But, NOTHING can replace time on the water. (Thumbs up guys)
