Zero cost Hosted White Label Business Strategy

London 7th June 2011. This day marks the beta release date of Sigma Suite (sigmasuite.com), the free SaaS CRM and total end to end business system providing all the software wanted for a small business or start up. 

 

Sigma Suite provides many of the features the market leaders provide only it's free . In summary it's a complete white label business system , it's cloud hosted and includes Customer Relationship Management, Order Management , Financial Tools, MIS, HR System also a live , integrated e-commerce system. Within a few minutes you can have it branded as your own, enter suppliers, enter products, create staff profiles as well as entering clients, of course if clients register online then all the contact details are in the crm software and they can also order products or services using the online public facing area.

 

Sigma Suite has been primarily written by Maric Gregory, who's background consists of writing enterprise level db solutions as well as database marketing. He is an expert on enterprise-level systems within the digital media space and has

been responsible for some of the biggest multi-terabyte consumer databases in the UK. His main competencies and experience includes database systems, data warehouses, high performance data processing, large scale data processing, neural networks, grid computing, systems integration, project management, systems architecture and SaaS computing. Sigma Suite Main Features

Sigma Suite currently has six modules

 

Sigma CRM (Customer Relationship Management) 

A customer can enter clients and suppliers here, create notes, look at associated orders, invoices, add tasks and control the sales pipeline through opportunities.

 

 

Sigma OM (Order Management) 

Using this you can see all the orders that have either been raised directly through a client or from an opportunity, you can add , edit, remove products and add these as order items to the master order. You can schedule times as well as adding notes.

 

Sigma HR (Human Resources) 

Each member of your business has his / her own profile, the profiles by default are simply a name, but photos, job titles, office locations and role / responsibility descriptions can be entered. This means people will be able to find the right person they need to speak to easily in larger companies. Staff can also add each other as contacts, allowing messages to be posted between teams etc.

 

Sigma FT (Financial Tools) 

The financial tools allows you make invoices and purchase orders, it also flags up which are due and which are overdue.

 

Sigma MIS (Management Information System) 

Since everything is central, live reporting over the business is extremely easy and correct. We've had many horrible experiences when the finance system gives 1 number but the order system gives a different number! This problem has been taken away here which makes regular reports very accessible .

 

Sigma EC (E-Commerce) 

All the products & services added in the order management system can be displayed on a client facing area of the solution, this allows you to set the cost, customers can view your site , sign up (which automatically adds them to the CRM), and add your products to either a wish list or to the shopping cart for checkout .

HTML 5 Offline Caching

Sigma Suite uses the new HTML 5 Application Cache as it allows your browser to locally store the static resources without having to load pages from the server every time.

 

SQL Server 2008

Binary indexing strategies taken from column database concepts, providing extremely fast data access over huge data sets

Embedded .NET CLR dlls, giving .net power within the stored procedures for final data validation before saving to the database .

 

Webservices and API

The entire front end of Sigma Suite runs from a large set of ASP.NET webservices, this means they can give API ability to these services to offer total integration with existing software or your own front ends to be built on top of the core technology.

 

Security

Security is a major strength here as it's the largest problem when looking after customer information, especially when it's confidential company information. They've put in far more security areas than required and things such as SQL Injections, Cross Site Scripting, Encrypted user data are all of course looked after.

 

Language support

The Microsoft Resource Files (Resx) are a fantastic way of giving multi language ability without having to have different copies of each page, it takes a huge amout of time to implement, however once it's written it makes adding any language very easy as well as for clients changing between languages when ever they need want. Also there is support for localisation - so months, date formats, currencies are also converted on the fly.

 

White Label

You can change the logos, colours, images, change the CSS, set the html meta tags, set your own URL and more as well. There's nothing to prevent you from branding Sigma Suite up as your own in as small as a few minutes.

 

Amazon EC2

EC2 was chosen for its hugely dynamic scalability and small cost. The ability to use unlimited mirrored servers means no matter what load there in on the servers, we never need to worry about the servers reaching capacity . Not only that, total server backups can be taken in minutes .

Most clothing brands that are considered "fly" are marketed to the black demographic and I was just wondering if any clothing line appeals to the white male demographic.
