help..lip piercing advice?
i have decided i am going to pierce my lip (please dont tell me not to do it. i've done all my piercings myself, use proper needles, gloves, forceps. and never get infections) i'm just not sure what jewelry to put in. i"m doing the bottom right side of my lip and want to use a hoop. but will i be able to comfortably wear a straight bar later? and if i use a straight bar will i be cable to wear a hoop later? because in my nose piercing wearing a hoop curves it just enough to be slightly uncomfortable..so i dont know what the best choice is..
I would personally go with a hoop its easier to "twirl" and clean properly and then later when it is healed you can move to the straight bar. Either one you chose should be fine as long as the hole heals properly and the jewelry is maneuverable enough to properly clean and then you can change it to whatever style you want.
