Using two lights is better than using one light. This will help you if one of the lights dies down, as you will at least have a backup. If you are using both of them at a time, place them 3' to 4' part. This will enlarge the radius of light, and therefore bring in more fish towards the light. From the aforementioned lines, you can deduce that the key is to attract the bait-fish because other fish will follow behind. To attract bait-fish, the best choice is to use two lights at a time. One of them should be white, and the other can be either blue or green.

You can even make your own light which is not a difficult task. First, you need to have a plastic container. Next, make a hole in the handle. Make sure you do not make this hole inside the body of the container. Now, attach the fishing line to the box via this hole. If you are left with excess wire, tie it around something else that is lying around. How much and what kind of salt do green puffer fish need?

Will salt kill the other fish in the aquarium with the green puffer fish? such as kissing gourami, mollys, angelfish, cichlids,platys,gouramis in general all types.....

Your green puffer needs to be in a tank of it's own. He needs marine salt, at a level (at least eventually) that most of the other fish won't be able to tolerate. Even the ones that could tolerate the salt shouldn't be kept with puffers - as they mature they'll be aggressive and eat the fins of the others in the tank.

The amount of salt that's needed will depend on the age of your fish. I'm assuming that the one you have is still a juvenile, so start by adding a tablespoon of salt per gallon of water in the tank(dissolve this in water before you add it to the tank) over the next few days, then add another tablespoon per gallon each following week until you get the salinity to 1.015 (you'll need to buy a hydrometer to measure this). When you do water changes, you'll also need to add the salt to the replacement water, so keep track of the amount of water removed, and the number of tablespoons of salt per gallon currently in the tank so you add back the correct amount.
