how do i get my hair to be straighter?
i have hair that is pretty messy and curly, i just wanna even it out and make it straighter and evener.

Okay. you are going to need a hairdryer (ceramic is best for adding shine, and least damaging), preferrably with a diffuser tip or concentrating nozzle (the one that slants inward) and a round brush to blow dry it with.
When you come out of the shower, towel dry your hair. then grab a section of your hair and run your brush through it slowly and away from your head and the rest of your hair, follow it with your hair dryer (without the special tip). repeat all the way around your hair. this will dry your hair quickly and add shine and volume. then, once all your hair is dry, attatch the concentration tip, then focus the blast of air downward from above your head. do this in a way that your hair is blown into a way that makes it look like it is perfectly straight until you move on to the next section. your hair won't as straight as it looked when you were focusing the air on it, but your hair will be pretty straight and have lots of volume.
Or, if you have more time than the 5-7 minutes it will take you to blow dry your hair like i said above (trust me, it takes almost no time, even though i have really stubborn hair) just use a really hot ceramic straightener. make a good investment in it, because if you have curly hair it will need to be more powerful. and don't forget a good heat protection spray!
