How to Construct a Chicken Coop in No Time!
The premises must contain a small chicken coop masonry with sloping ground, with cement floor 20cm above ground, situated in a dry and well protected by ditches to prevent seepage inside. The two headlands and a side wall should be closed to the roof and the other side with the top half of screen wire.
The roof can be of water to a greater economy of material and the door is in one of the headwaters. On the side of the screen there should be a plastic curtain to protect the henhouse, wind, rain and cold. On the floor a thin bed of sawdust, but it could be chopped corn cobs or other absorbent material. Should be protected from the prevailing winds in the region and with the front or open side to the east, so that it penetrates the morning sun. These rules are not rigid and can build the coop with other materials and other techniques such as asbestos cement shingles, clay, canvases over a wall (since there curtains to cover them when necessary).
The coverage can be one or two of water etc.. Its size depends on the house. Can, as already mentioned, be rustic, economical, it satisfies a minimum support and comfort for birds. The squares require less material and becomes cheaper. In warmer regions, must be painted white, outside, including the roofs, to absorb less solar heat and stay cooler. We can adopt a mixed method, as follows. We buy lots of 50 chicks from 1 day to race for position and put the chicken on the bed, as previously mentioned.
