• Boss' Bar for aperitifs
Visit the state of the art spa for marine skin care, a 100-jet Baineotherapy for an all-over massage. It gives you 40 times more effectiveness than regular massage.
The 112-room Mill Park Hotel is walking distance to the major attractions of Old Franciscan Abbey and Donegal Castle. Stay in spacious rooms, some with views. Swim in the pool, or enjoy local cuisine at the Granary or the Café Bar. Get a massage in the spa. Walk ten minutes to the Donegal Golf Club.
Catch the Donegal Waterbus from the town pier. This high speed Rigid Inflatable Boat (RIB) that runs on Donegal Bay is a major Irish tourist attraction.
Ard na Breatha is a cozy, ten-room guesthouse within walking distance of the town of Donegal. Enjoy stunning country views and organic meals at this four star boutique hotel. Lough Eske is a ten-minute drive.
You have the best of both worlds at this hotel. Enjoy Donegal's attractions; yet hear the bleating of sheep as you drift off at night. Sleep on an antique iron bed or relax on pine furniture in this restored farmhouse. The guest lounge features an honor bar, fireplace and plenty of books to read.
Harvey's Point is a 71-room hotel nestled in the Bluestack Mountains, right on the edge of Lough Eske. Donegal is five minutes away by car. Couples love the indulgence of the Italian marble bath and gourmet meals. In summer, you can take in a dinner cabaret.
If you're a golf fanatic, you'll enjoy northwest Ireland's status as 2011 European Golf Destination of the Year. There are two courses close to Harvey's Point.
Harvey's is famous for its activity packages. You can choose from:
• Canoeing
• Archery lessons
• Two-day fly fishing adventure
• Wine tasting
• Guided hiking
• Afternoon tea
• Cooking demonstration
Corporations can enjoy team building at a four-star facility.
Solis Lough Eske Castle is a five-star 43-acre forest estate, complete with pool/spa, restaurant and bar. The castle sits on the shore of Lough Eske. It appears on top ten hotels in Ireland lists, and has also been named the World's Best Luxury Country Hotel.
Solis Lough boasts a fully restored tower, traditional décor (four-posters and antiques) and modern amenities, such as free wifi.
Enjoy the Cedars Grill, with seafood specialties from Killybegs, and an outdoor terrace. Have a cocktail and appetizer at the Oak Bar, play a round of pool and listen to Irish music.
Relax at the Solis spa, where you can swim in a beautiful glass-enclosed space, then choose either steam or sauna.
