Can you hand wash 100% pure silk?
The dress says dry clean only, but I wash all my dry clean items without a problem. I've never had to wash anything that it pure silk before. Help before I ruin it. Thanks
yes you can handwash it, but watchout for any stiching or embrodiery. the silk shrinks when wet, and then expands again as it dries. and often any stiched areas become out of shape and bunched up during the drying process because the silk dries quicker then the stiching
