Why is it a double standard that it's ok to be outspoken and not ok to be quiet?
I think it's rude for people to tell me to smile more or sarcastically say, "don't talk so much." What's wrong with being quiet? Well for one it's not easy to be outgoing when you have social anxiety. Yes, I know I'm quiet but that's my nature so why state the obvious?
It's fine ot be quiet if that's who you are. Just don't be anti-social.
