Play Hard to Get - Get Him Hooked on You!
Are you unable to play hard to get in a way that really works? Have your attempts to get a guy's attention failed? Do you thing playing hard to get is for women who are manipulative and deceitful? While you can argue that it's better to play it straightforward and honest, there is a place of value in a relationship for this kind of game.
It's unfortunate that playing hard to get has come to have such a bad rap, but if you really think about it, it's not that dishonest.
Consider a night at a club and a guy you've never seen before comes up and asks to dance up close and personal to you. If the guy is cute, your first impulse might be to go ahead; you're playing it easy. But stop to think about it. What do you really know about him? Nothing except the cute smile on his face, right? Yet you're ready to go and throw yourself into his arms?
Playing hard to get isn't just a matter of letting him see that you might have discerning tastes; it gives you a chance to size him up a bit first.
So don't be afraid to say no, but you do want to show him that you could be interested in him. Strike up a conversation and see if he's only interested in pressing your body up against his or he really wants to get to know you.
Same goes for when he asks for your phone number. If he stills sees like a stranger to you, do you really want to give out your number? Each step you take should be in keeping with how well you know him.
If he can see that you have a minimal degree of interest in him, yet you're holding back, he'll realize that he needs to step up his game if he wants to get closer to you. A lot of women don't understand a man's need to be stimulated and challenged. They don't really want to hook up with a girl who is so desperate for attention she falls for the first line any guy throws at her. He wants to know that he did something special to deserve you, so make him work for it.
He'll enjoy the challenge you present and you'll have plenty of time to learn what kind of guy he really is. The wimp who's not worth your time will probably give up in a short amount of time, but the guy who puts in the time and effort is most likely going to be the kind of man you want in your life.

Does anyone have a spinal stimulator? If so, could you give me pros & cons? Also, how the procedure is done?
I have had 2 back surgeries. I have 2 rods, screws, hooks,& a cage. It has left me with a damaged nerve coming off my L5. The severe pain goes through my buttock,down my left leg to the ankle. The mild pain goes down the right leg. I am at my wit's end. Nothing works except lying down and sometimes heat & ibuprofen. How can anyone do this all the time?

I have had a Neurostimulator implant for 3 years now and it has saved and changed my life totally.

It has controlled my pain about 85%.
The procedure is done in 2 parts.
The trial. Done under sedation. Which is where they will implant temporarily a lead, which will come out of your skin. You will be given a control attached to this to see what and if this helps your pain and what seetings are best.
Then there is the full implant. This is started under sedation to get the lead placement perfect. You are then given a GA to implant the extension and battery.
Both in the trial and full implant, while under sedation, they will move the lead up and down your spine while it's turned on low, until they get the very best place to cover your pain.
In Australia we stay in hospital for a week. Spending the first 48 hours flat in bed and having the Nurse's DO EVERYTHING.
But in the USA it is done as a day patient, which I do not agree with.

EDIT: The Psych evaluation is actually to CONFIRM the pain is physical and not psychological.
The implant will not work on anyone if the pain is 'in the head' not the body.
They also want to make sure you are going to be a compliant patient, as this implant relies on you doing all you can to help yourself as well.
Some people get the implant and do nothing more to help themselves and find the implant doesn't work as well for them.
It's the one's who use the implant PLUS actively do additional things to deal with life changes and any extra pain. Such as hypnosis, physio, swimming, accupuncture, councelling etc.
Once you pain is controlled well enough for you to enjoy life again these things come easy.
