Stimulator Yellow

What Does the Color Yellow Mean for Your Room?
Yellow is usually considered to be a happy color that is associated with intelligence and of course, sunshine. It is a warm color so it should definitely be used to warm and brighten a room. It is also known to stimulate the mind and generate physical activity.

However, let me issue a word of warning: when it comes to yellow walls you can have too much of a good thing! When overused, yellow has been known to make babies cry more often. So, if you're planning on painting your baby's room yellow, go for a paler shade. You should avoid harsh or too-bright colors for an infant's room. Generally speaking, it may overstimulate them. You'll want a more relaxing and soothing shade for a new baby who'll be spending so much time sleeping. Pastels are a much better way to go.
If, however, you're considering yellow for another room in your house you can use a bit more color. A smokey shade is nice because you can have a bright, energizing room without overwhelming yourself or your guests.
Yellow looks great paired with darker colors but you should avoid black at all costs. Yellow and black together are often used to indicate caution or danger; not a message you want to send in your home. Also, if you are looking to evoke a sense of stability or safety, avoid yellow. It is a fun, playful color but is generally perceived to be "childish," especially by men. Knowing this, it's probably a good idea to nix using yellow in a master bedroom.
Be careful when choosing your shade of yellow that it isn't too dingy or dull. These types of yellow represent decay and sickness. Think about the color the leaves turn when they're already dead and have fallen off the trees. The yellow ones aren't the prettiest.
Yellow can be one of the most fickle colors (how can the same color represent decay and energy?) but can be really fun and modern if used correctly. If you're unsure, go with your instinct. Paint a sample of your wall and look at it every day for a week. How does it make you feel? Not good? Time to pick out a different shade.

How can you revive yellowing leyland cypress trees or whats causing it.?
I painted 35 leyland cypress trees about 25 days ago and some of them are turning yellow completely and the needles fall off just by touching them but some are only yellow on half the tree and some are only yellow in spots as of right now but i was just wondering if they are dying or is it a disease and how to fix the problem and make them live. ive been watering them every 3 to 4 days i even put some root stimulator on the dying ones i tried getting my money back but the place i got them from wont let me get a refund so any information would be a big help thanks i live in north carolina by the way if that helps to figure out anything. thanks
First off, I don't know how close to the coast you are, but Leyland Cypress are very INTOLERANT of salt. Airborne salt can "do them in" miles from the coast. I have experienced this on the Gulf Coast after our hurricanes.
Also, if the root stimulator you used is the liquid kind like Green Light makes, you have to be really careful of it can burn the tiny rootlets. I have done it myself more than once w/ other plants.
And the general rule of thumb is to never fertilize an ill plant...if your soil is very clay like and heavy, maybe the roots are drowning in water in the soil. They may be starved for air.
My experience is that once they show signs of dying there is no stopping it. I alternated about 15 Leyland Cypress with 15 Wax Myrtle and 15 Eleagnus and was glad that I didnt plant all one type of shrubbery. I lost all but one of my Leyland Cypress after Hurricane Ivan.
