Super Scribblenauts DS game, that came out on 12th of oct 2010.

Is a sequel to the game "Scribblenauts".

This game has a lot of features and new modes, you get to enjoy the game once again with our hero Maxwell!

He is the main character of the game, who leads you through the story mode.

This game's preqeul had only summons based on object's name and so.

Which you would just creatively think of a weird monster, object, tool, animal, armor, & anything you name it.

Then you would take your Stylus that came with your "Nintendo Ds" handheld, write that up with alphabets keyboard in it or just draw the letters to make the word.

Then you would press "Ok" to summon whatever you wanted to.

With this new sequel, Super Scribblenauts.

It unpacks a whole new pack of adjectives, yes if you would usually summon a bath tub only.

Think twice! You could now summon a super bathtub with wings.

How to put on swat fly repellent on a horse with SUPER sensitive ears (due to the flies)?

My horse desperatly needs swat fly repellent applied to her ears, but they are so sensitive that she starts to kick and bite when I do put it on because it hurts so bad. Is there a way I can put a good coat on all at once? I was thinking maybe putting the swat on a sponge and quickly wipe it over her ears but I'm not sure if that will work or not

There are four ways to go about it and I'll explain the pros and cons of each. Method one is something I would personally try first, but I've recently dealt with a similar case and it didn't work there. It depends on the severity. That is to train your horse to be still. I put the horse in the round-pen in case they really freak out and take off, I can safely just let them go. Then you use approach and retreat. You work towards the ears from both sides. The nose side and the neck side. You just start rubbing the horse normally, don't be sneaky and don't be rough. Just rub like you normally would. Find a starting point. If he only lets you rub his butt without causing trouble, then you can start there. Wherever, you start, rub her back and forth and then rub her a little higher and back off. I won't take you there inch by inch, but the principle is to rub a little closer to the ears and then immediately back off, but not as far as you were. You'll have to judge to see if you're proceeding too fast. By moving continuously and back and forth then the horse doesn't know when you are going to move toward the ear and you're back in a comfortable place before they can think to react. If she's been good with you doing this for a couple of minutes then just stop and leave her alone. That's a reward for horses. You do the same thing to work up the nose. Eventually, you'll get right near the ear. Once you can do this a couple of times, then bump the ear a little and quickly move away, then again. Once she's okay with that, then just go up and quickly run over the ear to the forehead. The trick here is that she's on guard saying you are going for my ear and you're saying that it was just an accident. With a lot of slow and steady work, you'll be able to rub the ears and then you can apply your product.

That isn't going to be very successful in my opinion, though. It's an effective method for desensitizing a horse who is head shy, but not for one who has ear pain, because it isn't shyness and everytime you touch the ear, you are causing pain, which has the opposite affect and teaches her to avoid your hand instead of accept it. So the second method is much more effective and quicker, but some people don't like it who don't know what it is. It is often the best option, though. That is using a twitch. I don't know whether or not you have experience with one or not, but it's a stick that's thicker than a broom handle and has a loop of chain or rope attached to the end. To use it, you put your hand through the loop, grab the horses top lip and pull it out enough to slip the loop of chain over it. You then twist the handle till the loop tightens and holds the lip. Some people think the twitch distracts the horse, but many others believe it causes the release of endorphins and produces a calming effect. Many horsemen and veterinarians use it. It's the best option to restrain a horse that is needs treatment. You should ask someone knowledgable to show you how to use one. It's also not meant to hold the horse. You or someone should be controling the horse by a halter. You have to be firm with them and can't hold it lightly or the horse will pull it off or out of your hand and then everyone is in danger.

Sedatives are a third option, but not a good one. First, it's an expensive vet bill everytime you need to treat the ear. Also, sedatives have the potential to be dangerous and they don't work on all horses the same, due to body size, personality, etc...

Lastly, I would suggest putting your horse in a barn, either in a stall or in a paddock with access to a stall. The first step is to put a long line on your horse and get a squirt bottle of good fly spray. Something strong that drops flys to the ground. Then get in an open area and spray the fly spray into the air and let it mist onto the horse. Some horses do better when you spray from behind and some would rather face you and try to back away instead of getting sprayed. Don't try to restrain them, just follow and keep misting till they stop. Make sure you get her head thourougly coated. Then put her up. I suggest hanging fly strips around the stall. The only reason I'm suggesting a stall, is because you can hang a box fan. This will keep the air stirring, which flies don't like. If you can't put up a box fan, then don't put them in the stall, just do the first step and leave them out in the pasture.

My personal experience in this area is with a horse who had ticks in his ear. He was very sensative and was hurting his ear, scratching them. That was a situation where they had to be removed. I mangaed to use approach and retreat to get a big fat one out of his ear. Then we bathed him and with his ears wet and the hair matted, I saw several more in his ear. He wouldn't let us get them out, so we twitched him and removed them without incident. My uncle used vicks vapor rub. It caused them to release and we ended up removing 8 ticks.
